Jack the car up,and make sure it is safely on jack stands.Look at the back of the transmission. The tail shaft rest on a crossmember.the crossmember goes from one side of the car to the other, and is bolted to the car with two bolts on each side. The tail shaft of the transmission rest on the crossmember.Between the tailshaft and the crossmember should be a rubber mount[transmission mount] that is bolted to the transmission. There is a bolt that is made into the mount that comes through a hole in the crossmember where a washer and nut is tightened up to the crossmember. Then loosen and remove the bolts that bolt the crossmember to the car.The bolts are at each end of the crossmember. After removing the crossmember bolts.Using a floor jack, jack up the transmission until the bolt in the mount clears the crossmember. Then slide the crossmember back or remove from the car [if needed].You should be able to remove the bolts from the mount where it bolts to the transmission. When installing the new mount do these steps in reverse. BE SAFE WHEN UNDER THE CAR,MAKE SURE THE CAR IS SAFELY SECURED BEFORE GETTING UNDER THE CAR IF YOU HAVE DO DO THIS WITHOUT A LIFT.
