I 'AM GOING THROUGH THE SAME WITH MY 87 300ZX TURBO! THE DRIVESHAFT U-JOINTS HAVE TO BE MACHINED AND BORE OUT TO MAKE THE DRIVESHAFT ACCEPTABLE FOR REPLACEMENT STANDARD U-JOINTS. YOU HAVE TO GO TO A MACHINE SHOP (DRIVELINE SHOP) AND IT WILL BE ABOUT $150-$175 A SIDE TOTAL $300-$350. THERE IS A COUPLE OF WEB SIGHTS THAT PROVIDE BALANCED, AND REPLACEMENT READY TO INSTALL DRIVESHAFTS. PUT IN NISSAN 300ZX DRIVESHAFT, AND YOU WILL FIND THEM ONLINE. The u joints are actually called staked in joints. they are replaceable with inside lock joints.
