On a 95 You must remove the upper intake the egr and the coil pack. then the 5mm Allen bolts on the covers them self. there are 10 bolts I think. you should get the valve cover kit with the spark plug seals in it. also get a upper manifold kit. to replace the all the gaskets you need. torque the bolts to spec when you replace them. and don't forget the locktite.

To replace the valve cover gaskets on a 2003 Jeep Liberty, the valve cover is removed. The old gasket is then removed from both the valve cover and the manifold (old gasket will come off in pieces on both sides). Then spread the sealant on the manifold, place the new gasket on, then put sealant on top of the gasket and replace the valve cover and bolt down.

I assume you mean the valve cover gasket. You replace it by removing the valve cover and cleaning off the oil gasket and the mounting surface. The install the new gasket and reinstall the valve cover. Tighten it to the specifications the manufacture of your engine recommends.

take off valve cover throw away old gasket replace old gasket with new put valve cover back on pwn

Pretty easy. Remove the valve cover by loosening the 5 bolts holding it in place. There are a couple of hoses and another screw that will need to be removed as well. If the valve cover has been on the engine for some time, you may need to apply sufficient force in breaking the valve cover/gasket loose from the engine. The gasket lies beneath the valve cover along its edge. The edge is lipped so the new gasket can be placed in this groove. A Honda dealer will typically apply an additional sealer to the new gasket above the semi circular portions at either end of the valve cover, but I don't believe this is required. (Pretty expensive to buy the tube for just one application.) Replace valve cover with new gasket installed. Tighten bolts, replace hoses. Done. ..................................................................................................................................... Not done. Don't forget the O-rings around the spark plug openings in the valve cover. These should come with the new valve cover gasket.
