Follow the top hose back from the radiator to where it attaches to the engine, this is the thermostat housing, which is held on by 2 bolts. Undo the bolts, pull off the thermostat housing to reveal the thermostat. Make sure to clean ALL the bits of the old gasket (push a rag into the hole to stop crap falling in) replace with a new thermostat and gasket refit bolts and tighten.
