The 1991 Mercedes-Benz 300e has the most common hook-end wiper arms. See sources and related links below for installation videos. Also, purchase the replacement blades first and there will be additional instructions/illustrations on the replacement packages. Locate and press the tab or button where the wiper blade is inserted into the hook of the wiper arm and pull wiper blade out of hook. You may have to rotate and flex the blade to make enough clearance for the hook to pass through.
There isn't one. the headlight wiper system will come on if the headlights are on and you hit the windshield washer button.
It is possible that your wiper switch is bad. The switch can be cleaned with an aerosol switch cleaner if that does not work then replace it. Pls let me know how it goes Regards Ehi

The wiper motor is mounted on the left inside of the windshield frame on the same bracket as the VIN. Fold down the windshield and is fully accessible.

If windshield wipers are stuck in position and won't move, I would say that the windshield wiper motor needs replacing. This happened to me last year.
the windshield wiper motor could be getting Hot! Mine does the same thing, then when it cools off they work again.
