Gmail: Put a checkmark next to the email you would like to report, then click on the "report spam" button.
Hotmail: Put a checkmark on the email you would like to report, click on the drop-down menu that says "Mark As", then in the drop-down menu select "Phishing Scam".
Yahoo Mail: Put a checkmark on the email you would like to report, click up at top where it says "Spam".

Risk of email attachments is one way to get a virus/spam/malware but opening an attachment without you not knowing what it is, that's stupid, don't bother even opening the attachment. If you want to open a attachment email and protect yourself, AVG has a email scanner and protecter built in. The email provider you are with will say if its spam or whatever anyways, or should.
If it is in an e-mail, you can just delete the email without opening the virus attachment. Otherwise, I don't know if it's possible!

if you are using Gmail, simply click the small box to the left hand side of the email title and then click the button with the rubbish bin on it. this should delete it.

You have to report the problem to Gmail. Or if you have the Email ID or password, you can report it as spam. The google people will look into the matter.
