You lucked out since I have been through this. You need an auto locksmith since it can only be reset with ability to type commands directly to ECU but only takes about 5 minutes. You can get it done for 100.00 or less if you are smart. DON"T GO TO THE DEALER. Go on Craig's search auto locksmith in services, find one that does chipped keys and is mobile and make it clear PATS is activated and needs cleared & or light flashing with key on. Not all auto locksmiths have advanced comp program required. Get a good price and have that person come tomorrow to reset.

Try to figure out what tripped it. Since your vehicle detected a theft, something happened. Most don't know if you insert wrong key in ignition halo, it trips, can also trip when you use fuse as power source for an accessory or if you carry other chipped keys or even interference from cell phones. Common one is bumping the starter with no key. The module it (halo) sends signal to is in your dash.
