In the Owner's Handbook it says something like - hold the RCL button and at the same time, press a side of the ^Auto Tone^ rocker button. Press the down arrow side to change the hour (1-12) or press the up arrow side to change the minute (0-59). Release the button when the time of day is correct.
depending on the style of radio...but both have a button tthat has RCL on it push and hold this button while pushing the tune button L or R for hrs or mins
