Remove the battery cables at battery,pump the brake pedal a couple times then rehook battery cables.This don't work all the time but sometimes.Cheaper than a dealer turning it off. Toyo joe The maint. Req. Light is nothing more than an "Oil Replacement Reminder Light". This is different than a "Check Engine Light". Pg. 154 Para(g) in the owners manual describes how to reset it. While holding the trip meter reset knob in, turn the key switch on, wait about 8 seconds and the odometer will come back on and the light should be out.
