1. Using the NGS scan tool and Service Card, select Service Bay Functions.

2. Select PATS.

3. Select Enter Security Access (this will require a 10 minute delay).

4. Select Parameter reset (do NOT perform any other selections at this point).

5. Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the scan tool from the On-Board Diagnostics II (OBD2) connector.

6. Cycle the ignition switch from the OFF to the RUN position 5 times. Each time the key is cycled, leave the key in the RUN position for at least 3 seconds and leave the key in the OFF position for at least 2 seconds.

7. After the 5th cycle of the key to the RUN position, the theft light should perform a normal prove-out and the engine should start.
