You have to use your car radio. The radio is linked to your cars computer. Now how to reset the check engine I am not exactly sure what your specific issue is but if it is an issue that you can alleviate then hold the on button on/menu buttom until the car computer options come up. Instructions for this should be in your car manual...Otherwise you might need to take the car to a local service station that does emission test they will be able to get under the hood and reset it for you or see if there is a greater problem...
