The light turns itself off if all tires are at the proper pressure (36 psi) and there are no sensor faults.
If the light stays on, you will need to have the system checked for codes by someone with a scan tool.

The only proper way is with a scan tool.
Set the tires to the pressure on the label on the drivers door jamb, and it should turn itself off. If it stays on, there is a sensor problem and it will require service.
The light will reset itself when the cause of the code has been repaired.
