1. Turn the ignition to RUN, with the engine off. 2. Go to oil life on dash info.
3. press gas pedal 3 times, light will reset to 100%
This worked on 2006 cobalt SS. If this does not work try step 3 with key on off position.

There is no fuel reset switch on any model cobalt if i remember u can do that by disconnecting the battery for a couple of minutes.. that will reset the computer
Chevrolet does not use inertia/reset switches.
Turn key on without turning on the engine then press the gas pedal 4 times. The computer should then reset.

look in your owners manual but usually you turn the ignition key to the on position ( don't start ) and depress the accelerator pedal 3 times within 5 seconds to reset it.
Fix the cause of the light coming on and the light will reset itself within a few drive cycles.
Turn on the key but don't start the car. Push the gas pedal to the floor and release 3 times. It will now reset.
