there is usually a swith under the steering wheel inside the fuse box, if it is not there the other switch is located in the fuse box under the hood, hold it for at least 3 seconds then check the dash to see if it is still on. it should say it in the vehicles manual under oil changes or oil change light. Try disconnecting the battery. You may have to reprogram your radio. You need the radio codes to do that. Works on BMW's I am not sur about your car. it should be in the owners manual, you have to turn your key on but not crank the engine and then you hit the gas 3 times and it should start blinking, then you hit the gas one more time and it will stop.

This is straight from the owners manual, turn key to "on" position but not "run" position. Open glove box and on the left side of glove is the reset button,as well as the truck on/off button.Press and hold the oil reset button for 5-6 seconds. this will reset the change oil indicator for approx 3000 miles. On my 1997 LeSabre, there is a switch in the glove box that permits one to reset (turn-off) the change oil light by holding it down about 3 to 5 seconds.

everyone should have a manual for their vehicle, and the library should have a professional shop manual available in the REFERENCE section...make copies of the right sections...good luck :) To reset your change oil light, GM uses the "3-step" method: I have a 1997 and here is what the manual says to do: With the ignition key in the RUN position, but the engine off, fully push and release the accelerator pedal three times within five seconds. If the CHANGE OIL SOON light flashes two times, the system is reset. However, if the light comes on and stays on for five seconds, it did not reset. You'll need to reset the system again. ...Good Luck!
