You can reset the check engine light on a 2005 Honda Pilot by disconnecting the battery for a few minutes. If it comes back on, you need to take it to have it checked or reset by a mechanic.
turn the key on the on position and step on the gas pedal three times in a row.....
It is so easy. Just follow this procedure Turn the ignition to the ON position -Press the selector button so that the warning is showing -Press and Hold the selector for 10 seconds, the display will flash. Once flashing let go of the button -Press and hold the selector button for 5 seconds, the display will reset. I just tried the same procedure on my 2007 Honda Accord and it worked.
You can reset a 2005 Honda CR-V SRS light by disconnecting the battery. Leave it disconnected for 10 minutes before hooking it back up.
there is a hole for your key underneath the indicator...just stick your key in there and it will reset back to green
Kick it or change the buttons in the back of the clock usually if you sit on it for an hour it will reset
You reset it with an OBD2 scan tool after you repair the problem. If you do not repair the problem it will just come back on.
Check your owners manual. If you don't have one copy & paste this link. http://www.genuineservice.com/genuineservice/en/gloveboxresults
HOPE THIS HELPS...ON MY ACURA(TOP-FLIGHT-HONDA) THERE IS A MAINT. REMINDER ON THE DASH THAT TURNS AMBER AT MAINT. INTERVALS. YOU STICK YOUR MAIN IGNITION KEY INTO A RESET SLOT NEAR THE LIGHT, AND THIS TURNS THE LIGHT FROM AMBER BACK TO GREEN. I THINK IT WORKS OFF OF THE ODOMETER ....GOOD LUCK! ..BB
