Remove the plastic bezel that surrounds the radio on the dash. Pull the radio out far enough to get the serial number off the radio chassis. Its a white strip with black numbers. Send that info to daewoousa.com and they will email you back the secret 4 number code to reactivate your radio. To get the radio to begin blinking "code" for you to input the secret code (sigh) you have to disconnect the NEGATIVE battery cable and reattach it after waiting a few seconds. The radio will blink "code" and then you input the 4 digit number. Hope this helps

go to the dealer
The Daewoo had NO transponder on any of their vehicles from 1999-2002. Incorrect. The Daewoo Leganza had a transponder option in 2001+, as did the Lanos. The Nubria had a transponder option in 2000+.
500-600 dollars

The code p1780 indicated a fault in the park/neutral position switch. It has either failed or is out of adjustment.
On a 1999 Leganza it's under the passenger door sill. Remove the plastic sill and it's under the carpet.

Factory reset for a radio in a 1999 Honda Accord can be done by a dealership. The requirements from the dealership to have this done is proof of vehicle ownership.
