Your security light does not reset, it comes on when your door is open and your key is not in the igition and it will continue to flash, even when doors are closed. This is GM's cheap way of looking like it has advanced security features.. but it doesn't, don't worry about it, it means nothing it, and it is meant to do that. Now if you want to reset your oil light, turn the ignition to the on position, pump your gas three times, all the way to the floor. If it doesn't work, try doing it a little slower... all the way to the floor, release, all the way to the floor, and again.. it should blink, change engine oil.
That REQUIRES an ENGINE SCANNER to do that.

Turn the ignition set to on without starting the engine. Press the gas pedal three times in quick succession and watch for battery light to flash three times, when it does, it is reset.
