You do not reset it, it is a fault code. It is not a routine maintenance indicator. Fix the problem and the light will go out.
Press the step button until 0 miles to service is displayed. Press and hold reset.
unfortunately this is not possible without service workshop dignostic software
To reset the service indicator wrench:Hold down the odometer reset button with the ignition offWait for the trip indicator to show 0's. Then turn the ignition on, but don't start the carLet go of the reset button, and press the M button.
On my 2006 55 plate Dynamic you toggle the computer to display the service details, hold the button in until it changes the screen to show when the next service is due.
Have the engine controller checked for faults then serviced and the light turned off. Take it to the dealer.

Turn key to on position with out starting. Press the select/reset knob until the "engine oil life indicator" is displayed. Hold down the knob for at least 10 seconds. The "engine oil life indicator" will blink. Hold down the select/reset knob for at least 5 seconds. The "engine oil life indicator" will be reset to 100%.
I changed the oil on my 2003 93 early and was able to reset the oil life indicator by changing the date on the SID to a date beyond the 'days to service'. An option to reset service data then appears . When done simply return date to the correct setting. (to change date press and hold the info select button when date is displayed).
time for a service!
