you could grab a pillow and stuff your face and scream as loud as you can. Put loud music on...it sometimes help. Or if you want...you could write down why you hate that person and just write down how you feel. Or talk to someone close to you that you can trust with. Get a piece of paper and pretend your writing to that person and express ALL of your feelings and don't leave a thing out. But later on...make sure you shred it or put it away somewhere safe. Because i pretended to write a letter to someone and it had some colorful words on it and then the principal found it and i got in big trouble....hehe. Buy a punching bag and put it somewhere in your basement or your room so when you're angry you could just punch it until you released your anger. I know you might never do this one...but at least try and talk to that person. Sometimes its the easiest way to let all the hatred out but its the hardest to do.

"Put loud music on"? Fine if you are a mile away from every other human being. Someone around you just might need peace and quiet at that time. Some of us need it all the time.

Form a permanent barrier between you and that which you hate. A defense mechanism that you can reach for every time that your hatred tries to poison you. In order to find out what this defense is I suggest you journal daily and put in some energy and thought in finding the answer.

Confronting that which holds you back is the key to success and happiness.

As alluded to, you can't resolve hatred. Hatred is one of those emotions that either is or isn't. It rarely has any real motivation. It often rises out of perception...of situations, or people, or things. You cannot combat that. People perceive what they will, and they will either overcome a bad point of view, or they will not.

It could be argued that education can resolve hatred, but this is only partially true. If the one who hates chooses to learn, then yes. If he is open to a new perspective, then he may change. Often the pit of hatred is so deep, there is no climbing out.

This may seem a bit defeatist, but it truly isn't. It is observation, both by one who has hated, and one who has been hated--strong emphasis on the past tense being in the past.
