compression engine for make power up at Mazda mx6 how make it up
if the distributor is not firing. check to see if your engines compression; if compression is at zero, then you need a new engine. Mazda millenia, 626, ford probe have this problem.
same thing happened to my fc(rx-7) found out that when 13b's start to overheat the engine will run rich(increase the fuel) what you might want to do is check if the engine is flooded look to de-flooding methods. simple to do. normal indication is when cranking you can smell fuel. if not flooded and believed to be seals check compression, normal compression gauges will work if you do the three bounce test look in Mazda tech manual or haynes manual.
All the cylinders should be within 10% from the lowest reading to the highest reading for a healthy engine.
BE CAREFUL! Does the engine crank? ** IF it doesn't, the air intake may have sucked up water and locked the compression cylinders hydrolically. IF it doesn't crank, pull the plugs out and try to crank the engine so that it pumps out the water. Replace the plugs and try to start again.** **IF it does, it just may need to dry out.**
10:1 - 12:1 through that range is fine
Flooded in the river or flooded by gas? Any "check engine lights"? Full gas pedal depression is the normal way to clear gas flooding or first remove the spark plugs and blow out the excess gas.
My first test would be a compression test, it takes special equipment as it is a dynamic not static compression test.
looking for an engine no on a mazda 1992 121,were is it locoteded on engine
The Mazda Rx7 has the Wankel Rotary Engine in it
See your dealer, At worst, it sounds like you could have a bad apex seal. At best, it may need fuel injector service. Have Mazda run an engine compression/vacuum check to know for sure about the engine seals.
Replace the Mazda engine.
