The CD or casette is screwed in using brackets screwed on to the side of the cd/casette unit. difficult to steal! the centre console is screwed in at 2 points at the top of the console. access to the right on is through the blanking plate or light adjuster if fitted. The left on is accessed by removing a switch. once screws are removed the console lifts out. BE CAREFUL NOT TO DAMAGE THE HEATING AND VENT SWITCHES. THEY ARE ALL ATTACHED!!!
Replace radio/cd using ISO wire block if required.
The dash on a Hyundai Elantra is held on by several mounting screws. Remove all the screws found underneath plastic covers, as well as underneath the dash. Gently pull the dashboard towards the cabin and remove any attached sensors.
a scewdriver or hammer

You don't remove the dash. I suggest you take it to a place that does this kind of stuff.
I need an answer to my question. how do you remove the dashboard to install CD player in a 2002 ford explorer. thank you.
The best thing to do is to get an install kit from walmart. You can then put the casette player inside the kit and put it in the dash that way. You will also need a wiring harness to do it correctly.
take door panel off 1995 gmc truck.
If you're looking to install an aftermarket stereo system then you need to purchase a dash install kit. You can pick them up at Walmart if need be, they're about $20. The dash install kit comes with instructions for how to safely remove the factory stereo and install the aftermarket one.*If you want to keep some of the safety features, such as the "dinging when you manually turn on the driving lights and turn the car off" you'll need to pick up the wiring kit to go with the dash install kit.
