No. While a round pen is desirable and makes it a lot easier, it is quite possible to do without. In fact, Monty Roberts joined up with a mustang in the wild with no pen at all! He had a horse that he rode however to keep up with the mustang since there was no way to confine the horse.
some where in the wild if its a wild horse... other wise its a barn and its not a wild horse.......
If you are referring to the Chicoteague Pony Round-Up they do it to decreasr the wild population of Chicoteague Ponies so the island they live on does not become overcrowded and the horse starve for lack of food.
This would be a cutting horse which is usually an American Quarter Horse.

Great Question! Yes, and no. Wild horses are in danger of dissapearing. They used to be killed by farmers for trustpassing on farmland and eating crops. Nowadays, there are wild horse rescue foundations. These buisnesses round up the wild horses, and put them up for adoption. If you can, it would be great to sponser these foundations or, better yet, adopt a wild mustang. Mustangs will take longer to adjust to their surroundings, and they won't trust you right from the start. They will need special, loving care because they are so sensitive. Although, people say that when a wild mustang trusts you, the bond between horse and owner is stronger than any other horse and owner. There is alot to learn befor you get a horse, so do some research first. You can't go wrong in having a horse for a conpanion!! Domestic horses are not in danger.
well it is not smart to ride a wild horse but wild horse rehab
a "semi-wild" horse.
A Horse collar is something that goes around a horses head so that you can lead it round with you or tie it up but not tight in a horse box
