Just download and install them. They'll both run just fine, open at the same time - so long as your computer has the memory to run them. The real question is why would you WANT to have IE installed? :)
It really depends. If you are a web designer it's a good idea to test your designs in both Firefox and Internet Explorer. If you only use the internet to check your e-mail and to odd things, then probably not. Answer: It is not Necessary . this is depend upon need but we can use both at a time.

theres a few ways you can do this you can install both aplication on both computers or if they are connected to the name network you can turn network discovery ont he main computer on and connect them as the same workgroup and right click the applictions luncher and share it then on the second computer you can connect to it wireless and run it that way
Firefox doesnt have a auto start option. But, you could always look in msconfig (just type msconfig into the run command tool), and look in the start up tab option.
