use batterries, or if your using a rechargable device (i.e. iPod, MP3 player) do not place the device on charge until the battery is in its final dieing stage and every device has a required time to refill the battery to the max life do not leave it on the charger the suggested amount of time. If you are interested in going even more detailed buy a mobile charger for your car to recharge the battery. if your interested in being eviroment friendly, then i suggest rechargable batteries even though you use power to recharge the batteries it is far less harmfull then using disposable batteries.
