There are so many different animals that are endangered, which makes it easy to find a few that you, your friends and family are especially interested in. The more people involved the better, that helps get people educated and informed. So picking several different species, will make it easier to focus your attention on the steps you want to take, and help keep you from feeling overwhelmed.

Find out what the listed endangered status of each animal you picked is, along with their population figures. Use some of the major endangered lists for the national information, such as the International Union for Conservation of Nature, IUCN Red List, and the US Fish and Wildlife Services Endangered Species List, also check if they are protected by Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species, CITES and which appendix they are listed under. Learning these details, and keeping the current facts will help you focus on the animals, and their circumstances. Talking about these details with friends and coworkers, or class mates, helps educate people about the circumstances of the animals your interested in working for, and spreads the word about them beyond the person your speaking directly with .

You can research the species and find which organization you think is doing the kind of work you feel is the most important, then volunteer your time to the group you feel will put it to the best use, and encourage your family and friends to do the same. Learn all you can about the species, offer to help at any local rehab sites, zoos, vet offices. Anything that gets you close to the animal your interested in. Check with any local organizations, and see if you can organize, a fund raiser, or act as an assistant in one they already have planned. Plus, any training, or classes that you have access to, you should take advantage of, knowledge is power and that power will help protect the species you are learning about.

Most of the volunteer organizations want everyone to participate, and will be happy for you to work directly with them, or are willing to give you materials to learn, train, and work on your own, you just have to explore your options. Lastly, most organizations are interested in donations, keeping that in mind, a donation can range from your time to, items on a "wish list", to cash donations and land left to the organization in trust. 1. Don't kill it 2. Don't destroy its habitat 3. Leave it completely alone, it can most likely look after itself If numbers are very low, capture from the wild and introduce to zoos where breeding programs will be set up for the species, hopefully increasing their numbers so that one day either they or their offspring can be released into the wild and thrive.

The most important thing to do to protect wildlife is to protect its habitat. The second is to regulate human interaction with the animal(s) by controlling how many of an animal can be hunted, or if hunting should be outlawed.

One thing we can do is stop killing them and making them into random stuff.
although on the commercials they make it seem like fraud, you call the number on the commercials with sad music that say if you pay them every month it helps save animals. its true.

Also you can protect forests, don't litter, never mess up animals' habitats, don't pollute, and many more things.
by banning poaching, illegal trade and severe punishments for hunting.
By conserving energy, water, and paper products. Stop global warming. You can also stop littering. Theirs a lot we can do to help endangered animals!

In addition to the above, Recycling could also save the Natural Resources instead cutting trees. Also while visiting national parks, zoos, please obey the wildlife codes, this could also help the endangered animals.

Stop consuming meat, dairy, and eggs. Animal agriculture is the leading cause of species extinction. In addition to the tremendous habitat destruction caused by clearing forests for animal grazing and to grow feed crops, predators and “competition” species are often hunted because of a perceived threat to industry profits. The use of pesticides, herbicides, and chemical fertilizers in the production of feed crops interferes with the reproductive systems of animals and poisons waterways. The over-exploitation of wild species through commercial fishing and the “bushmeat” trade, along with animal agriculture’s significant contribution to climate change, all contribute to global extinction of more species than any other cause.

Without your body, where would you live? The same thing goes for the animals in the rainforest. You should think of how to save their habitat, before you want to save the individual animal.

What are the positive and negative effects of human activities on tropical rainforests?

a positive effect that humans would have on the rainforest, would be as simple as joining a group such as WWF. They are a government group that support the rainforest and discourage the deforestation of it. Many people have joined or suppoerted projects such as WWF to help save the Amazon rainforest, the animals in it, and their habitat. Many more people donate money to protect an acre of rainforest from being cut down or tampered with. The leaders of there organizations either already hold a spot in office, or protest to the government about saving the forest for everyone.

How do people save the rainforest and do people care for what they are doing to it?

how are people changing the rain forest?

What is people opinions on cutting down the rainforest's?

It depends. Some people think they need to cut down the rainforest trees but other people are trying to save them and think it is bad to cut down the rainforest.I think that we need to stop cutting them down.

What plants and animals do you find in a rainforest's?

It matters what kind of rainforest. If it rains alot in one rainforest, plants and animals that like rain would be there. If it hot in one place, plants and animals that don't like rain would be there. In a Temperate Deciduous forest animals have adapted by hibernating, storing food, and fish and migrate from place to place in the forest. An example of one of these animals is the American black bear. Other animals that do some of these things are coyotes, duckbill platypuses, Eastern chipmunks, fat dormice and many others. They all migrate, some fish and some hibernate. They all live in the deciduous forest. In a Coniferous forest animals have adapted by hibernating in the winter, migrating and some grow thick fur. Wild rabbits are one of the animals in a coniferous forest who grow thick fur in the winter. Animals in coniferous forests shed their fur in the summer. There are elk porcupines, deer's, tigers and animals like these. Some other things animals have are dark furs to camouflage. In a Tropical rain forest animals don't have so much fur like animals in other forests. This is so, because tropical forests are really hot and humid. They adapt by eating certain foods because there is a lot of competing going on in tropical forests for food and water. An example is a toucan with a long beak. They have long beaks because they eat nuts; the beak is to cut into the nut. Another example is ants. They grab leaves from plants and put them in the ground. Their saliva and the leaves make fungus, which ants eat.In a deciduous forest plants have adapted by shedding their leaves in fall. They do this because it gets cold and trees lose their moisture. In order to keep that moisture they stop sending water to the leaves. Another way they adapt is by growing their leaves wide to catch sunlight. Wildflowers in a deciduous forest adapt by growing early in spring time. They do this because they know that the trees' leaves will fall off and block the sun-light for them to grow. To protect themselves from cold winters, trees have thick bark.In a coniferous forest plants adapt by growing needles. They grow needles instead of leaves, because the leaves fall off in winter and it takes a lot of nutrients and sun light to grow the leaves back. The sun isn't always up high in the sky so they don't have enough energy to grow leaves. The energy they don't use for leaves can be used for growing the trunk and branches. The forest gets a lot of rain but, the water freezes in winter so the trees have needles. The needles help limit the amount of water needed for the plant. The needles shape makes snow slides of off them in the winter. The branches won't break often because piling snow on the needles and branches doesn't happen, all because of the needles shape. To prevent moisture lost in the tropical rain forest, they have smooth, thin bark. In the tropical rain forest, leaves have thick waxy coating and are big to collect water. The trees have buttresses which are like extra trunks, which help the tree stand in the moisture. The waxy coating makes the water fall off the leaves. Without the water on the leaves fungus won't grow on it. To attract animals, flowers on the floor of the forest have designs. They attract them so they can pollinate them since wind doesn't reach the forest floor. In a deciduous forest called Satoyama, In Tokyo, a group called "Totoro Hometown Campaign" helps endangered animals there. A group of residents near it, were concerned about the wild life there started it in 1990. They are saving over 1000 plants and animals! In a coniferous forest, in Tennessee, They are helping to conserve plants and animals that are endangered. Many of the animals there can't be found anywhere else in the world. The animals have limited space and start dying off because of buildings in Tennessee are taking away there homes. They are still trying to save the endangered animals, by control under the Endangered Species Act.Tropical rainforests are endangered. Since the tropical rain forests- the home of many animals and plants- are endangered so are all the animals that only live tropical rain forests. The organization WWF helps tropical rain forest. They have been helping to save tropical rain forests for 35 years. There are different layers in a tropical rain forest. The first one is the tall trees and animals that live in them. The second is filled with shorter trees and plants such as shrubs. The third is filled with even shorter plants algae that live in ponds and animals that walk or move on the forest floor. The average rainfall is 200-1000 centimeters a year in a tropical rainforest. Rain forests are home to 50% of earth's animals and plants. Only in the rain forests, 70% of the plants the U.S discovered were useful to National Cancer Institute. Deciduous forest is also called temperate forests. The trees in the deciduous forests are also called hardwood, because of their hard bark and in the winter they loose their leaves. Some of the trees in coniferous forests can be found in the deciduous forests. Coniferous forests are also called Taiga. They are known as coniferous forests because of all the conifers that live there. Coniferous forests have From 300 to 900 millimeters of rain, a year. Almost all the plants in the coniferous forest have needles. Most of the animals that live in the coniferous forests are herbivores. As you can see there are many ways that deciduous forests, coniferous forests and tropical forests are different. Their animal adaptations are different along with plants adaptations and where they are located. They are all over this earth and are very important to earth.
