Perminantly in what way? Please be more specific. Usually, when you put a CD into your computer (if you are connected to the internet), iTunes will download song names from their server and then you can click "Import CD" in the lower right corner of the screen to import the songs. The default place that iTunes will save the files is in My Music/iTunes Music, but if your library is located in a diffrent place, it may be diffrent for you.
If you insert your CD into the drive, a menu should come up which would give you several choices. If iTunes is not on there, close that and click on the iTunes icon. Next, your CD should show up in the left side of the iTunes screen. If it does not come up automatically, then you should click on the CD and click the rip button. After the songs have been ripped, you can right click on them and add them to any playlist you want.
You can save them in a file that lets you play the music like iTunes, Windows Media Player, Quick Time, something like that and make a playlist and burn them to a cd.
Some CD's can not be converted into MP3 files. If when placing the CD in the computer it does not offer to save the songs then the disc is probably locked. If it does offer right click and hit save here and click iTunes.
Windows Media Player or iTunes can help rip CD to MP3, WAV and other audio formats.
Use iTunes, rip the cd onto it, then drag and drop the songs onto your mp3 players folder :)
The music is stored on a CD as AIFF audio files. If a CD icon appears you can usually double click it and drag the files into your Music folder. AIFF files are relatively large and so are often converted to the MP3 format to save space. A typical song will be around 20MB (AIFF) which will be reduced to around 4MB (MP3). Free software, such as iTunes or numerous others, will recognise the CD and convert the music to MP3s, or whatever format you prefer, and help manage the Music folder.
I usually us itunes, but that's because i have a netbook. If you have a computer with a slot for cd's you can save you cd's onto "your music.
Yes, most definately, you can either drag the music from iTunes onto the folder of your Mp3 or use the copy and paste mtethod. Also, if you are importing CD's, go to import settings, and change the imported files to 'mp3' so the music will work
You can upload music from many websites, CD's, iTunes, etc and save them in a folder on your computer.
no you can't unless you have either burned it on to a CD first or you have transfered it from an ipod to an mp3. so the answer is no
If you have Nero Wave Editor, you can insert the entire music file into it and simply save the file as a file with the extension .mp3
no
the format on the CD is not mp3... so you have to convert it to mp3
