Most anti-virus programs are ineffective against already-infected PCs, but the only one I know of that can install successfully in an already infected PC is stopzilla. Check it out at stopzilla.com
Download & install a Antivirus program & scan all the drives of your computer. Otherwise, u can scan all the drives of your computer from command promt itself.
Run the local scan and online scan with a antivirus program.
You cannot do that. You can install the program itself on an external drive by it should be connected all the time if you want to use virus guard. If you have a virus guard which you trust on your PC you don't need to have it all your external drives. When you have connected an external drive run full scan on it.
Install the AntiVirus software and scan your computer. The AntiVirus prevents any kind of malicious software and viruses.
you can install as many as you like. But dont scan at the same time beause it could stuff up your registry... And that meens you have to re-install your operating system and things can get very complicated.
If you are asking what to do about a lot of viruses on your computer, then I suggest you install an antivirus program. There are plenty of free ones, like AVG, Avast, and Avira. Update it once it is installed, then run a scan. I also suggest you install and scan with Spybot Search & Destroy from safer-networking.
Don't worry Computer Guru is here to help. I had trendmicro antivirus but then I decided to keep it and install windows live onecare. Windows live onecare won't interfere with your current antivirus program and it comes up to date with a 90 day trial. You can get this free trial from http://onecare.live.com/standard/en-us/3/communications/trytoday.htm Once its downloaded run a complete scan and do want it tells you. Most likely it will quarantine the virus with no problem.
McAfee is not the best AntiVirus around. I would recommend switching to a different AntiVirus, such as Avast.
Run one the antivirus program and scan the computer everyday.
There are many antivirus programs that could be downloaded. All of them would provide either a one time trial scan or if you download a free program then you could use it numerous times.
Have an up to date, good AntiVirus program installed on your computer and scan often. Dr. CureIt has a good freeware program.
with any antivirus, just scan your pc, try this if you don't have one: avg free, just in google search, install it and scan.
