The easiest way that I have found for one picture is to send it to your email address.
I use my phone camera for business and I purchased a chip for my phone and have all photos default saved to the chip. Radio Shack/Target/Walmart and probably others sell a small chip converter that takes your small chip and a "thumb-sized" converter chip makes it compatible with the USB port of most computers.
The conversion chip cost about $10.00 and the additional chip for your phone varies depending upon capacity, I think they start around $20.00.
The transfer rate is great and since it is via a USB port, there is no air time as opposed to sending a picture via email.
