As a bit more information - I've changed my reverted homepage back to default (Firefox's own), and everytime I open a new tab, I'm greeted with "homepage-web.com/?s=acer&m=tab"; I've run Malwarebytes on it, and it produced something on the first scan, nothing on the second. I was prompted to Download it by Pokki, a company who seem to work in unison with Acer.

Click a new tab and you can have more than one page open at a time. Also do not close that page when you want to go to another URL. Just go there and it will open.
