yep, exactly, and if you have a newer model deck with the one multi-functional knob, when the unit is turned off, hold it for a few seconds, and it will bring you to a menu...scroll throught the menu till you find clock LOL Well, I don't see that this is an actual Lumina question, but, since I happen to have a 1990 Lumina Euro AND a Pioneer Premier stereo, I can answer this question hopefully. You have to power off the stereo, and then press and hold the "function" button, (might be different on different models) and then there should be a setting for the clock. I don't have my book handy at the moment, but I can check it and get back to you later. Hope this get you pointed in the right direction.
A detachable face makes a stereo less desirable to a thief, but you have to keep up with it.
The Hawach high binding Elisa plate is detachable. After disassembly, it can be put into a pollution-free bag and sealed, and stored in the refrigerator at 2-8 degrees.
Yes,that's one of the many features on that model.
Replacing a car stereo is not a difficult process. All you need to do is take off the face plate, unscrew the radio, and unhook the wires. Then place the new stereo in, hook up the wires, screw the new stereo in, and replace the face plate.
There are clips that hold the face plate on. (The face place runs just above the clock/vent and to the bottom where the open storage cavity is. You do not remove any control buttons on the panel i.e. heat, fan etc.) You remove the face plate by inserting a thin instrument and carefully pry it forward just enough to locate the clips that are holding the plate on (appoximately 5 clips). Press in on each clip until all clips are released, then pop plate off. The stereo is mounted on with a couple screws. Undo the screws and pull the unit out forward. When replacing the stereo you will need a mounting bracket kit for the new stereo which can be purchased at circuit city. Good Luck.
The THD Hot Plate is a power attenuator for a car stereo system. You can use the THD Hot Plate to keep a power source to your amps. The Hot Plate is used by serious car stereo enthusiasts.
You are describing a detachable magazine, such as used by the M9 pistol or M16 rifle.
anti clock wise
After you take off the face plate, you need a removal tool to remove the stereo. If you dont have one, get tweezers, break them in two pieces, and shove the two prongs into the inserts on the side of the stereo. Slowly manuever the stereo out.

Yes, but you have to modify the end of the hole... The Metal plate behind the dash board (in the stereo hole) need to be removed, and that require professional work.
