timing is nonadjustable, i know you have a distrubtor but I've done many of these, your dist. has a nocth where it only goes in one way,the sticker on the front of your fan shroud will tell you.
the owners manual should tell you what degree the timing is supposed to be you theset it at that degree with the number one piston in the fireing order but you have to pull your distributer up and out where it don't turn when thenumber one is set at the degree sugested by manual restab the distributer with rotor facing the number one plug niple on the cap
