If you have your ISO game ROM downloaded and ready to go, just make a folder in the directory that you have Dolphin in called "Roms", and from there I'm pretty sure you can set that folder as the default folder.
To move slowly in Pokémon XD using the Dolphin emulator, you can adjust the emulation speed settings. Go to "Config" > "General" and set the "Emulation Speed" to a lower percentage. Alternatively, you can use the "Turbo" button to toggle slower movement while controlling the character. Additionally, using the slow-motion feature (Shift + 1) can help you navigate more carefully.

Dolphin is a GC and Wii emulator, not a N64 emulator. If you want a N64 emulator, try Project64. ms says: You can get emulators designed to run on other emualtors that boot on the gamecube or wii. They come in iso form and can be run on the dolphin-emu. there is one for nes games and possibly you can make one for n64 which I plan on doing. also if you come across one of these iso's you can also rebuild it with more game rom files. I already got n64 games and nes games running on dolphin and on fedora 16 based on the Linux Kernel version: 3.1.5-2.fc16.x86_64. There also in the future will be releases of memorysticky_OS which will have the dolphin emulator set up and installed. It will not however have game roms. you have to get those on your own. should be easy to setup any nintendo games. the first release may also contain mame arcade emualtor and as well as other games like dopewars and other goodies.

It depends on the settings you set for your emulator. Go into your emulator and go to the controller settings area to set the controls.
