Yes. You go to "Sign up" and make up a Username And Password. Then you enter your email (If you already used your email on answers.com, u cant use it again. So, u have to make/ use another email address) and, ur signed up! Good Luck!
The above no longer works. The author apparently has not tried it recently.
You do not have the option of entering all three of those items, just the first two.
I will soon be canceling my Answers.com account in protest.
At one time, you could join without Facebook, but you no longer can. Clicking "Sign up" now brings up a page which uses Facebook to authorize your usage of this site.
If you do not have a Facebook account, the only other thing you can do on the page you get when clicking sign up is to join Facebook.
I don't know if that is what the Answers.com originators intended, but that is a change that their programmers have made.
Because of that, you can no longer join answers unless/until you have a Facebook account.
Facebook is becoming a de-facto single-sign-on mechanism.
Yes, in fact I did. You can easily hit the "Sign up" button and type the username you want, your password, and your email. Make sure you read the Terms of Use!
o thats easy
That was easy, but no longer is.

You apparently cannot any longer.
It used to be possible, but I believe that now a facebook account is required.
Quite right!

Go to the main page, and at the top-right of the page, click on "Sign Up." Click "Sign up with email," fill in the necessary information (first name, last name, email address, the username you want to use, and your password), check the "I have read and agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy" box, and click "Sign Up" to create a WikiAnswers account.
It could be done originally but it's not possible anymore.
The current (Oct 2013) registration rules do not allow any other form of sign up, you must register using your Facebook account.
Unfortunately not. As of late 2012, Facebook is currently the only way to sign up. Sorry.
There is no way to sign up for WikiAnswers without using Facebook. All users who wish to make a WikiAnswers account must sign up using a Facebook account.
A Facebook account is no longer required to sign in on Answers.com.
I wouldn't mind using my Facebook account except for that when I tried to sign up for answers it said something about by doing so answers would have access to all my info and such is there a way to make sure my personal friends only information is not accessable to answers if I sign up using my Facebook accoutn?
You don't have to have a Facebook account. You have the option of creating a separate one.
You don't need Facebook . . . if you already have an Answers.com account. The skinny is that a new contributor who has not previously signed up, finds, when he attempts to sign up for an account with WikiAnswers, that WikiAnswers gives him only one mechanism for signing up. That mechanism is to use Facebook's signup mechanism. Create a new account on your computer, use a different browser, or try incognito mode in Google Chrome, when not already in incognito mode. Then try to sign In to Answers.com. You will have only two choices: Sign in with your already existing Answers.com account, or sign in with Facebook. There is no option for creating an Answers, com membership from scratch. If you don't have a "grandfathered" Answers.com membership, your only option is to sign in with Facebook. And to do so, you must either have, or must create, a Facebook account.
If you signed up before Facebook became a requirement to new registrations then you can still sign in with your old account, just click the "Sign in" button under "Legacy account member?" If you joined via Facebook or want to register a new account then you can only sign in via your Facebook account.
No, You can sign up using your email. Facebook, Google or Twitter login is optional
Yes, currently it's the only way to sign up here.
At this moment in time - you need a Facebook account to sign up with Answers. When I joined Answers (in 2010) you didn't need a Facebook account - now - you do. From a personalpoint of view, I think it's a bad idea forcing people onto Facebook just to use this site - as some people (me included !) have no desire to put their personal information onto an (obviously) insecure website !I hope Answers reverses their decision to force people onto Facebook - it serves no purpose !
Yes. New accounts require the user to have a Facebook account.
You can't. You need to have a Facebook account to sign up to deezer, presumably so they can access your friends addresses. No Facebook, no Deezer.
change your language to spanish or french. there u can sign up without haveing a facebook account.
