You don't! Facebook is not the way to meet people. My sophomore year of college, my roommate had a crush on the goalie of the men's soccer team. She added him on facebook and tried to chat him. He probably would have been interested in her had they met in person first, but meeting over the internet was so awkward that they didn't even end up being friends. Look, talking to people you've never met online is both silly and unsafe. Do yourself a favor and don't pursue anything with this guy on facebook. Still to meeting people the old fashioned way: in person! It will work out better in the long run, I promise.
