How do you step by step change a fan clutch in a 1999 dodge Dakota?

Leave sep belt on for now. Go to auto parts store & rent the tool for Dodge fan removal. (you get your $$ back upon reture of tool) One part of tool goes around the small bolts on pulley to keep it from moving. Other tppl (looks like a large open-end wrench) goes on the large nut in center. loosen counter clock wise (normal way). after it is loose Unscrew that nut to remove whole fan assy. be careful Not to hit the fan-it is a tight fit but can be done just take your time
