How do you stop Christians from attacking you about your homosexuality?

True Christians wouldn't. Why does it matter to you what they think? That is what gives them their "power". People caring what they think when nothing they say or do can have any affect on you unless you let it. They are so miserable in their own lives they have to attack others to feel better about themselves. Don't give them the satisfaction. Ignore them much like an annoying insect. You can not argue or change the opinion of an ignorant, self righteous, bigot. If they were open to the possibility of discussing it, they probably wouldn't do it. You can't stop anyone from doing anything short of physical violence and that just causes you grief.

They might not be attacking you. Your insecurity, immaturity, and/or guilt could be making you see admonitions as attacks. True Christians warn against homosexuality. They do not attack.

You could look for some therapy to make you stronger and more secure so what the critics say won't bother you. It could be at some level that you feel you chose to be gay. If you truly felt you were born that way, it might not bother you as bad. If you did choose it, then come to terms with that choice and take full responsibility. Then when others try to use that against you, it won't bother you, since you accept the full circumstances of your gayness and take full responsibility for them. You can try quitting and reorienting yourself, but that is a long-hard road, and you should not expect any gains, though you might.

Here are some other things to possibly try. You could try refraining from same-sex forms of sex, and try masturbation or celibacy. You could learn to dress and move in ways which won't draw attention to you and avoid overt homosexual displays of affection. Look for accepting straight friends who won't judge you. If nothing else, you can always move from the area to a more accepting area, perhaps in a larger city.
