You dont want to stop your computers fan from running. It will overheat and break if you do that.

Your electric fans have stopped working. Turn on you A/C with the hood open. If no fan is running either the fan is bad (most likely) or the relay is bad (not as likely). Y-THINK-Y

Probably because the cooling fan relay is dead. I had the same problem, removed the fuse and put it back on. The fan then stopped. Thought it was fine, that the relay got "sticky" or "reset". 2 days later, I stopped my car and waited for a friend with engine running. Shortly after, water was boiling: the cooling fan relay is likely to be dead and will change it today.

Sounds like the fan switch is fried. If it is stuck on high speed the blower relay may also be fried.
