A good way to help car sickness is to bring a cool facecloth with you in the car and if you start to feel ill, place it on your forehead and it will help cool you down. Also try eating carbohydrates, such as bread and drink plenty of water. You could also try taking short breaks where you can get out of the car if your journey is long.
I know it sounds weird, but when i am on a long car journey i sit on newspaper. It actually works!!
