'What are 'Alkaline Based Acids'. ????? Alkalis. Bases and Acids are three different types of chemicals. However, burn or no burn , you do NOT put either chemical in you eyes. In the lab. you should be wearing goggles or specs/glasses with blinkers to protect your eyes. However, if you have any chemical splash into your eyes, wash immediately with plenty of water, go and see an Eye Doctor immediately. You only put into your eyes, eye drops which are a mixture of chemical salts specially designed for eyes, and as directed by a doctor.
Yes it happened to me with hydrogen peroxide solution
Sulphuric acid or H2SO4
actually your eyes do not burn when you have a fever but they do hurt when you have a cold or the flu.
hen the eyes have been exposed to chemicals, they must be washed out for 15 minutes with clear water. Contact lenses may be removed only after rinsing the eyes.
no they don't except when u do of course!! It depends. If you were to damage your eyes with a chemical or puncture, you could just hurt your eyes or even become blind. Your eyes won't just stop working when your just hanging out. They will only stop if there is something terribly wrong with them, but that RARELY happens. You won't have to worry about your eyes not working because they are perfectly fine! Hope this Helps!
A lot of chemicals burn your skin. The most common chemical to burn you would be Ammonia that will cause your throat to shut and cause your breathing to stop. It will burn your throat really bad possibly leaving blisters.
