If it's over someone, try being in their place. After a while, you would feel annoyed with yourself. What you have to do is learn to be on your own, don't completely separate yourself from that person, all you have to do is learn to be alone sometimes, which will stop you from obsessing over that person.
If it's over something, do the same. Take interests in other activities, keeping yourself active and distracted.
