I know the answer this one. Had it happen on my 98 Town Car. First on the passenger side in the engine compartment just below the windsield wiper blade set-up you will see how the water is supposed to runnaway from the vent. Now just follow what I call a collection troth and there is a rubber flap/trap door that is probably clog up. Clear the passage way out. Next if you want to go further remove the coweling of passanger side wiperblade grill(easy to do). Remove grill set-up that covers vent( need to remove screws that keep it down). You will notice a foam seal that goes around vent area. Lincoln does not supply this. Remove foam seal and clean area very well. Get some silicone sealant and use a large bead, recreate foam seal. While still wet push down and rescrew back in place. Replace grill cover. That's it. Good luck. Now if anyone knows how to replace the light switch, please let me know. The drain tube located outside at the passengers side firewall is plugged, this drains away the condensation water from inside th eunit. locate the tube on the lower passengers side firewall and use a coat hanger or other rigid wire to stick up the tube until water runs out. You may need to do this more than once depending on how much stuff is in there to clog it.
its located under the hood by the firewall on the passengers side. it is the larger of the two tubes running through the firewall. they start out at the compressor which is on the bottom of the engine in the front. between the engine and radiator.

You need to check the firewall service, it must be running.

You should always have a firewall program running. Anti-virus programs can only do so much !
Windows XP has a built in Firewall. Turn it on. One free one is Zone Alarm if you are not running XP.
It is risky for you to stand outside your running car with your kids inside it.
