How to keep the game from getting boring is to use cheats! I know I tried a bunch of different cheats for my PC version of the game, and it made the game a whole ton more interesting. If you don't know any cheats, you could use Google, bing, Yahoo or whatever other search engine you use to find some easy!
If you have already used a ton of cheats, and using cheats is getting boring, why not try creating a new family and try to use no cheats at all?

Unfortunately you don't receive any town with sims 2 pets. Also I wouldn't recommend buying the sims 2 Pets, the pets are quite boring to interact with and they just destroy your furniture and make holes in the lawn. Not worth the money.
