Sounds like the fan blades (or some other component) may be a little loose. Try taking a screwdriver to each screw you can find and give it a little snug-up.
http://www.harborbreeze-ceilingfans.com/ ------- Yes, either a part is loose, or your fan is unbalanced. You can install small plastic clips to balance your fan blades. These are similar to the small weights used to balance your car tires. They simply clip on to the edge of your fan blade. After install, turn on the fan to see if the noise improves or worsens. If the noise continues, move the clip two inches toward the fan motor and recheck. Repeat with each blade until the fan is silent.
Take it to a mechanic
put clock oil on the second hand.
only way to stop lifters from ticking is to replace the lifter. ticking or noise from lifters is caused by parts being worn most times whenthis happens the nlobe on the cam that the worn lifter is on, is also worn,so you have to decide if it is worth paying for both to be replaced
The ticking noise is the metal cooling.
have your valves adjusted adjust your valves
Turn it off...
All you have to do is use your bow tie and put on the ceiling so the satellite hits the ceiling....just go towards the top so it hits the ceiling...
If they are mechanical lifters, then there is an adjustment under the valve cover. If they are hydraulic then there is no adjustment, and while a different weight motor oil or special additive may help the ticking there is not real way to stop it.
balance it
fenders
Perhaps a vacuum leak
To bind ceiling fan is not an electrical term. To bind something is to stop it. In the question context an answer can not be given.
