How do I take saved songs in my LimeWire library and add them to a folder to put into itunes?

You can open iTunes and Limewire at he same time and drag the songs from your Limewire to the iTunes. OR You can open iTunes, select 'File' then select 'Add Folder [or File] to Library' and your computer files will pop up. You then select your Limewire 'Saved' file and there will be a pop-up showing that it is copying your files.

The iTunes users wants to put the songs from the LimeWire user into her iPod.
I searched for quite a while, but could not find a "good" answer.
The closest I found was to install LimeWire onto the computer of the iTunes user, and to re-download the same songs into this freshly installed LimeWire. Then go to the music library screen within iTunes (on the same computer) and choose "Add folder to Library" from the file menu, and select the download folder that was defined during the LimeWire installation.
I really do hope other readers find a better answer to this, as I do not feel that the "solution" I have found to this little problem, is satisfactoy.

∙ 14y agoGo to "File" and click "import song into library" and find the song you want. Alternatively, you may also find the file, right click it, and click "open with..." and click "iTunes".

There should be a folder in your documents called "Limewire". Inside that folder is the "Saved" Folder, which is where the files should be. While you are running itunes, click file, then add file or folder, navigate to the "Saved" folder, and select the music you want to add.Alternatively you can go into the "Saved" folder, cut all the files and put them into your "Music" folder.

sometimes they get transfered to your itunes, but sometimes they dont. If they dont appear in itunes, go to the start menu, search up "limewire", then click on the folder... you then go into the "saved folder" and theres all your save music, movies ect. you got from limewire.

How do you get your LimeWire songs onto your ipod?
1) First, you open up the start menu. 2) Look on the right side of th menu for Either "Music"(Vista) or "My Music"(HP and others). 3) Once you find it, open it. 4) Once you've opened it, click on Limewire and click on "Saved Files". 5) Once you've clicked that, it should list all the songs that you have saved on Limewire. 6) Then, select the music that you want to pun on iTunes. 7) Right click the selected music and click on "Move To Folder". Once it asks you what folder you want to put it into, click "Create New Folder" and create a folder specifically for your music. 8) Save the folder and close the window. 9) Open iTunes. 10) Once in iTunes, go to file and select "Add New Folder To Library". 11) It will then ask you which folder you would like to import. Click on the folder that has your music in it and press the "Select Folder" button. 12) Then it might say something about one or more files not being in AAC format and iTunes has to convert it. 13) Click the "Convert" button. 14) After it's done converting, all your songs should be in your library. Just repeat the process for more songs.

no. you can get it from other places, i think as long as its saved to your computer. i use limewire because its free. but once you have a song on your computer, hit File+Add File to Library in your itunes window. then go to wherever you saved the file to and click on it, hit open. then you should see the music file in your library. :)

you have to delete it from the folder it was originally saved and installed to. hope this helps

My best answer is to turn it into a mp3 file from iTunes LimeWire, then save it onto your computer. Then plug in your iPod shuffle on the computer, and import the saved music from your computer to the iPod.
