If you are talking about making an image of what you see on your computer monitor here is the answer.
On your keyboard there is a key (usually to the upper right) that is labeled "Prt Scr" or something similar. when you press it the computer memory (Windows clipboard if you are running any Windows operating system) captures the screen and if you open a picture editing application (MS Paint for example - but almost any one will do) and choose to "Paste" (Ctrl + V) the image of what was on your computer screen will be pasted into the application.
Some tips:
- Forget MS Paint if you are running Windows. Get PaintDotNet instead. It's free and excellent.
- If you just want to grab the area of the active window (if an application does not cover the entire screen) press Alt + PrtScr
- There are a great many applications from Freeware to expensive screen shot applications that will help (useful if you have to take very many)
If you want to photograph your screen or TV (with a camera) that is another matter entierly and you will have to fiddle with ISO sensitivity, shutterspeeds etc.

I used some screen recorder to help me take video from desktop. It can not only help me capture whatever happened on my screen, and also help me save the video to standard WMV video format.

∙ 14y agoTo take a screenshot on runescape set the screen up to what you want to take a picture of, then press the prt scr button. This is beside the F12 button. Then open up a program where you can edit it. When your editing the screenshot, be sure to crop the screenshot so you can only see the picture. Not the toolbar or anything like that. You can leave it in but it looks better without it.
