How do you take a the entire door panel off of a 1997 Pontiac Sunfire?

If you have crank windows you first must remove the window crank. Take a flat head screw driver and carefully pry the door panel from the crank...it will have a horse-shoe clip which needs to be removed first. You can remove the clip with a small makeshift hook. Afrer the crank is off there are screws along the bottom of the panel, there are screws under the arm rest which need to be removed. The rest of the panel is held on with clips which can be removed by prying the panel off with a flat head screw driver...this must be done to the front and back of the panel. Once the panel is free, pull it towards you to free the door knob and then just lift it up...good luck to you
