You don't actually take apart the motor itself. The motor and housing are
most likely behind glove box. Get a repair manual that shows how.
However first check the blower motor relay and fuse. It could also be the switch
or the regulator. Get someone with experience to help you some Saturday.
Take the dash apart ...
take the dash apart and its much easier to get to the motor, a bit tight to get too but better with the dash out of the way!!
How do you take out a blower motor on a vauxhallvectra vectra
I had a problem with my a/c fan. I took out the glove box and accessed the ac blower motor(on the passanger side). unbolt and remove. take a look at the motor brushes they may be covered in black. take the motor apart and clean brushes and contacts. Put everything back and it may work. It worked for me.
It is located on the blower motor housing and is white in color. You have to take the blower motor assembly out as far as I know to get to it.
You don't need to take the dash apart to get to the blower motor. You have to remove passenger side underdash panel. I think just 3 screws . With paneling off just look under dash and you'll see blower motor cover with wire harness plug. Unplug electrical plug and remove 4 screws from cover plate. You can now access blower motor and regulator. 4 screws hold motor assembly to heater box.
open glow box and take out computor and it is there on the side of blower motor
You can get to the blower housing unit from under the hood located near the firewall. (This is contrary from how "Haynes" tells you to do it. You can't get to it by taking apart the dash.) Just take the blower housing cover off and presto, there's the blower motor easy to get to. Total time of installation for a person with some mechanical ability would be one and one-half hours.
First, take a socket wrench to remove the cover of the blower motor of a 1993 Chevy truck. Then pull the motor blower out and install a new one in its place. Lastly, screw the bolts of the blower motor cover back in.
behind the blower motor. to take off the blower motor its on the passenger side under the glove box but above the floor. unclamp the casing where the floor light is. then theres the blower just unsrew the three srews. unhook the hose, unclamp it then then take it out
The Blower Motor is located behind the glove box. It's really easy. You take out the glove box and there are three screws holding the blower motor on.
It's on the passenger side of the car.Behind the glovebox, you will have to take the glovebox off the dash.then you will have to lay on the floor on your back, looking upward by the firewall you will see the blower motor.look behind the blower motor you will see a wire harness conected to the blower motor.Thats the resistor, after you un hook it from the blower motor you will have to take the blower motor out. It's held in by three screws, once you have taken the blower motor out, follow the wire harness that you've taken off the blower motor.you will then see the resistor with much effort its easy to get out,it's held in with two screws, you will only take one screw out to get the resistor out.
