You have to take the interior engine cover off to access the spark plugs. First take out the two screws that hold the drink holder, Take all the Philips screws that hold the leather/covering, Remove two screws/bolts in ash tray compartment, then remove two bolts at the bottom front of engine cover, lastly unlatch both sides of the cover. The best way to remove the cover is to push the bottom toward the engine and pull the top out(away from engine) and up...it's tight.

if it's a 5s-fe engine(most of the time it dosent matter what kind of engine) then take a 30 mm socket to the top of spark plug wholes and take those off(there should be two rings when you take that top ring off) then all ya do is take any hoses off the valve cover, pull the valve cover, then take a razor blade to the gasket. once you have the valve cover gasket nice and clean you just put a new one on.
