The 1999 Oldsmobile Intrigue has the most common hook-end wiper arms. See video in related links below, however look for where the wiper blade is inserted into the hook and press the tab or button. Pull the wiper blade out of the hook. Sometimes you have to rotate and flex the blade a little bit to make enough clearance.
Replace the locking tab on top of the wiper
take it off
Take off the bolts at the bottom of the wiper arms and you may have to wiggle the arms back and forth to work the wiper arms off.
it's not possible...
they turn on with the windshield wiper switch
A wiper arm on a 2001 Honda Civic is screwed on. To remove it unscrew the mounting hardware and take off the wiper arm.
If a windshield wiper switch on a 1995 Buick Riviera stays on when in the off position, it might be the fault of the windshield wiper relay. It could also be that the switch itself needs to be taken off and reset on the dial.
Use a measuring tape! Or take them off and compare... Seriously?!
The windshield wiper arm is held in place by a retaining clip. Hold the retaining clip in and the windshield wiper arm will come off. Put the new windshield wiper on and read lease the retaining clip.
I have a 1977 powerwagon and my wipers have a little bump at the end of the arms. The wiper should have a tab that you lift to release the wiper from the tab and then slide the wiper off the end of the arm.
you will have to go to a junk yard and get another arm from a different vehicle. but first make sure that when you take the arm off of your vehicle, check that the teeth on the "little nob" are not ruined. if they are you will need the wipper motor for the passager side as well.
That vehicle should have a bayonet or hook wiper arm. See related links below, match up the wiper arm attachment and view videos.
