Once you remove the wheel - you should have access to two bolts on the inboard side (side toward the center of the car) of the caliper itself. Once you remove those bolts, the caliper should wiggle right off the rotor. Be mindful of the flex hose and rubber bushings on the caliper itself. If you need access to the rotor - make sure to carefully support the caliper, via a rope or wire to make sure that the flex hose does not have any load on it.
Simple, take the brake caliper off and it slides right off your lug bolts
you take out the 2 bolts that mount the caliper to the caliper mount. Then you take a small pry bar and push the brake pad closest to the caliper piston so you can get the caliper off, if it doesn't just slide off. then you take one of the old brake pad and a vice grip clamp, you put the brake pad in front of the piston and put the clamp on the brake pad and the back of the caliper and clamp it down until it will fit over the rotor with the new pads on.
you need a caliper piston tool from autozone..and pads first and then you take caliper off of car and use tool to suppress the caliper piston.by using the old brake pad.the tool cost about.6 or 7$ that should do it for you
take off wheel, then take off caliper by the 2 mounting bolts. do not let caliper hang by brake hose, tie up to spring if possible so your brake hose does not get broke. take off caliper mount, then slide rotor off. when putting back on caliper, push caliper cup in to bore, all the way with a c clamp. put caliper holder back on. then put brake pads in caliper. place caliper over rotor, and tighten down.
There should be 2 screws on the front of the rotor, remove those and the rotor should come right off....you also have to take off the caliper bracket.
It should only take about an hour to replace the brake lines on a 1995 Toyota Corolla. The exact time will depend on your experience with replacing brake lines.
Take off the wheel, then you will see the caliper, on the back of the brake caliper there are two hex head Allen bolts, take those out then you will be able to pry off the caliper. once the caliper is off change the brake pads and put it back together!
take the tire off and then remove the brake caliper remove the brake pads take a c clamp and compress the brake piston replace the pads then put the caliper back on tighten the caliper bolts put the tire back on then turn car on and push on the brakes a couple of times
Remove yhe wheel and calapse the caliper with a screwdriver take out the two 15mm. bolts on caliper . Remove caliper. Pads will slide out don't take off holding clips put new pads in and two bolts back in put wheel on .
You usually have to take off the brake caliper, then the caliper mounting bracket to free the rotor.
Pretty easy actually. First you take off your tire at the back of the caliper there are two caliper bolts remove those and the caliper should come off the unscrew your brake hose
Take the wheel off to see if you see a caliper for a disc brake or a drum for a drum brake.
